MUM'S REVIEWS:

"Fantastic product !!!
Have now taken my 10mth old daughter off baby bottles and using solely these training cups. Excellent valve system - no more spills. Nice variety of colours. Easy to clean.  You really couldn't ask for more - i love them and have been recommending them to every new mum i know :) "

"Brought these for my daughter to use for her water and instead of drinking milk from a bottle.  She quickly took to them with no issues. Also the product is safe and has no harmful chemicals  in the plastic. I'm going to buy more and the milk bottles for my new baby due soon."

"I tried various cups but all the spouts were too hard for my 1 year old until I heard of these and she loves these bottles. The spouts are soft for her mouth and as they are non drip can be tipped upside down with no spill. Easy to clean too, an excellent product for easy transition from bottle to trainer cup."

So why are they so popular?

The Doidy Cup from Bickiepegs is designed to teach your child to drink from the rim of a cup rather than a spout or teated bottle. The special slanted design makes it easy for little ones to sip rather than pour, as they can see what they're drinking without tilting their head too much. This encourages a natural drinking action as well as helping them to learn to put down the cup properly.

The Doidy cup is an ideal aid to weaning as the natural mouth action used is the same as in breast feeding. In addition, dental professionals suggest that training children to drink from a cup as soon as possible can cut down on the long-term dental problems associated with prolonged use of bottles.

Babies as young as 6 months find the two-handled Doidy cup easy to hold and use, but with Mum's help the cup can be used from birth. Dishwasher (top shelf) and microwave safe (although microwaving liquids can result in 'hot spots' and microwaving is therefore not advised for children's drinks).

Bickipegs Doidy Cups come in 4 lovely colours, all the same size, red, yellow, blue and pink although check the prices as they do vary with the colour between £2.99 and £4.

MUMS REVIEWS:

"When I was returning to work I needed a way my baby would drink my milk in my absence. After spending a huge amount on bottles (she would not take them) this cup was recommended. We brought two and my baby gets on really well with them, I would highly recommend this cup to anyone else in the same situation."

"These cups are great. My baby wasn't interested in the usual sippy cup. he thought it was just another toy and would thrown it around, but he immediately started drinking from the doidy cup. Highly recommend it!"

"If you are about to begin weaning your child on to solid foods, I would suggest purchasing this cup to encourage drinking without a bottle. They are fantastico! "
